To resurrect this thread for a bit....Just cause its good to share experiences for when people do a search looking for answers....
So last night I was out and about watching some fast cars go at it, and about midway thru the night on the interstate I couldn't get down to second, was stuck in third. Would go up gears but really problematic going down. I remembered earlier in the week my clutch lever feeling "weird" and not springing right back out, but kind of slower. So I slow down a bit, and screw with the up and down and get it back going....four or five min later, its pissed off and stuck in fifth. Barely get it down thru gears a couple of times going home then eventually fifth only for a ten min ride on city streets. Sucks.
Wake up, look at fluid and its a tiny bit milky, but barely, compared to brake fluid. Grab a line, bleed it completely new fluid thru. Fixed. Rode for a bit and its fine.
Brings two questions to mind.
1. Why did it occur and will it again. Couldnt find anything that would let in air or moisture.
2. Did I do clutch damage with it doing that dumb $hit, and possibly not engaging fully, while running hard earlier.
Time will tell.
