It is so easy to replace the input shaft, it is a cassette transmission for crying out loud. Second if there is a burr, why in the heck not just take a chain saw file and debur it? Just order the parts, the shafts come with all new gears because of the spacing.

I am in the same boat but I am definitely not paying a penny as I just paid £160 for annual service and as the dealership is 50 miles away they have agreed to deliver bike back free of charge.

Well I spoke to the dealer on Friday and the replacement shift rod wont be here till 5th April and Kawasaki haven't gave him a time on arrival of the new input shaft.

I'm actually getting really pissed of with the situation.

All this sounds super weird
They took months to change oil n try n figure out what’s wrong
No offense this sounds wonky
Something is off in either ur description or dealership is completely incompetent.

Something is completely off

I have total engine rebuilds on my other race bikes that take less time then this
