malh2 First run today with Metzler M7R tyres front and rear in the twisties with a mix of wet and dry roads.Result All good plenty of traction and steering also pretty neutral,change of direction mid corner no problem (bloody log trucks).I have always like Metzler tyres used to rum M3s then run M5s which were better in the wet,now with these M7s I am pretty happy with them.Worth putting on in my opinion and going on the wear from my normal mountain run that I do they will certainly wear better than the bridgestones fitted as stock offer just as good grip in the dry and much better in the wet.

Somefun I wouldn't put anything less that the Bridgestone or Super Corsa's SV2's.... Dual compound are great for less power but if you flash this girl you had better have something soft on there.....

Yep, I remember reading that the wheel are knurled or slightly ribbed at the bead where the tire seals. This was to ensure, due to the torque output of the motor, that the tire does not spin on the wheel.

SilverbirdH2 I'm considering this...but the grippability with THIS bike might be compromised...I really don't know.I'd like to try the PR4's actually...they gave me really good mileage on my 14r.Grip was very good with the weight of that bike.Not sure what the reasoning was from Kawasaki with the 200 profile.

Nessuno Anyone consider trying a bit harder compound in the rear to compensate for that 'extra' wear?
