the original assembly bolts were the problem and now we upgrade the bolts
The loose bearing section would make a lot of vibration and noise , quite obvious and easily addressed if not ignored
i havent tried it yet but think i could source replacement ceramic bearings and rebuild these if ever needed

|Rick150||You have to check because vibrations can eventually damage the ceramic bearings. Best to fix it before it shaves alloy off the housing, sucking it in and destroys your motor. 'Preventative Maintenance'|

|12cramster||I am total guessing here but at the speed and revolutions that the impeller spins if the axel play gets very far out of spec you won't have to check it. I would think you would feel and hear it. I hope not to find out! lol|

|aleib||i did not measure it, but on hand mine look like having a greater than 0.5mm play... i will check again in the next air filter clean/reoil.|

The spec, according to the SX shop manual, is 0.5mm. I don't have my bike yet (any day now), but my understanding from a lot of research is that if the axial play is greater than spec, you have to buy an entire supercharger.
