|TedG||Time for tires again. Going to try Michelin RS and a 190 in the rear. We will see. Probably will paint the wheels and strip the edges.|

|h2madness!||Yeah...the factory wheels really are very good.Buying some BST's(at this time)just wasn't worth it for me.I had those on my 14.To me,I couldn't feel much difference really.Maybe on drag strip or something. They are excellent wheels though.|

Put on the new tire today, I was very surprised as to how light the wheel was. They did a pretty good job of making the wheel strong and light.
Also put in the new K&N filter.
Next tire swap, the wheels get the treatment, paint and polish. Bike is too dark, the black wheels make it look heavy.

|TedG||Tire arrived, today (Tuesday) ordered it on Saturday from Motosport. That is pretty good service. Wasn't as inexpensive as Dennis Kirk, but they had the tire in stock where DK didnt. I am going to squeak the last few miles out of it then change tires.|

|kryptek||I've been using my track tires (Dunlop GPA Pro Med) on the street and they seem to be holding up very well. I don't run my bike hard or past ~80MPH unless I'm at the track though, so take that with a grain of salt.|

Well it is tire time.....
Having approx 1500 miles on the bike (1000 of those were easy miles) the rear tire is toast. I have ordered another rear.
I was ready to hate the RS10s like every other Bridgestone I have ever had. But I can't, surprisingly they are good tires. They slide around predictably and seem to have great grip. And the handling has only marginally dropped off.
I will wear out the new rear, and when I do I hopefully will have time to paint the wheels and try a pair of Michelin Power RS tires. All the reviews are coming in good.
And I will also be able to judge the actual wear of the Bridgestones riding normally now (roads are starting to clear off the sand) that I am not breaking in the bike and have a bit better idea how to ride it.
The good part is it seems to kill tires no worse than the 10, but I do ride the 10 harder just because I am more used to it.
I asked this question before. Has anyone tried the Michelin Power RS tires yet?
