I've read every break-in Post there is.

The fact that there are so many means there is not one right way.

The point of all this is, you want to load the rings, by creating pressure to help them seal to the cylinder wall.

You can do this by gradually increasing RPM but the best way is to go up and down hills. Let the bike decel off-throttle going down so that the pressure builds compression from underneath also.

In my experience, you are all done by about 200 miles, and you should be able to FEEL a difference.

It's in the manual, don't do a hard break-in. One thing about the internet, most of the so called facts or recommendations are nothing but unverified rubbish. There was a difference in mine at about 400 miles but it was 6000 miles before I really noticed it.
