Got a few things with Shannons so ended up at $1219. They have been excellent with a couple of claims I've had in the past. QBE $1450.00.
Bike finally reached Canberra at lunchtime today along with another 2 unsold as yet. Snowy Mountains riding for the weekend, screw mowing the grass it can wait.

Mate personally I would wait until you can ride it with traction control off and engine braking on reduced setting, I would be surprised if your looking for anymore get up and go than that.

I'm just plodding along over the Snowys now and once i run this thing in its gonna be a weapon. Even just tooling around 6000 revs is pretty cool, dont need music on the earphones just listen to that thing sing :-)

Hi Guys I am an ex IAG employee (NRMA, RACV, CGU, SGIO, Swann, SGIC, Coles, Lumley etc)

I still get an awesome discount so mine was only $700.00 per year sorry guys

I would check out LSV (Lumley Special Vehicles) it was brought in to be the Shannons killer and they offer some of the cheapest quotes I've seen. They wouldn't insurer me as I was under 25 so I couldn't get a quote. I've spoken to the underwriters about this bike and they aren't concerned by the supercharger, the CEO of Swann even said 'there are already bikes capable of 300km/h speeds so this is not something new to them'.

Lets be honest you aren't likely to get a fresh 18 year old buying one of these things!!

My first quote from my Kawasaki dealer was like $5000+ US for a 59 year old with no tickets or wrecks, but my wife and kids have had plenty. Finally got Gieco for $850 or something, but later raised to about $1100, still not bad considering the family history. Just for laughs I checked my 19 year old son's rates for the H2, only $12,000 per year!
