Renewal from Ramasis (kawasaki)

Just got my renewal from ramasis, who were the cheapest for me last year at 1356 for my h2 and my Vmax. This year its 1340!!! Is that a joke? I had a quick look on a comparison site and dropped it to 550 for the h2 and 150 for the max. I'm awaiting a return call from ramasis but to be honest I'm not holding on to hope with them.

Who is everyone else using?

Oh yes, uk

Went from 1k to about 600 with Ramasis for just the H2.

Maybe it the Vmax hold the price up

Nah, I did a quick comparison check and for some reason ramasis gone crazy. Everyone else is around 550 for h2 and 150 for Vmax and that's on seperate policies so should be cheaper with them on the same one. Nevermind, I'll just have to switch insurers. Just seems bizarre to me that's all

Mine was 780 with Ramasis when new, valued at 22k. Did you guys drop the value in the second year to get those cheaper prices? I have full no claims, 48 years old, license for 25 years,no accidents etc... crazy expensive.

For all the UK guys looking to renew insurance, I just got insured (second year) for 424 including leathers, helmet, breakdown recover, legal cover & personal injury. 3000 miles with 800 excess. Decent saving on last year, I stayed with Ramasis but they had to price match to keep me... More companies covering the H2 now so easier to shop around.

Mine's due for renewal in October. It'll be interesting to see if Carole Nash offer a competitive quote. They are a broker so they ought to shop around for me, I know in previous years with other bikes they've done that.

Good effort Rob, you beat me by 75, mine could have been cheaper but I added all the extras, still a heavy excess though...
Let us know Bob, interested to see if the trend is more competitive prices.
PS I'm 48 and live in Derbyshire, I guess post codes impact prices
