Decent Economy Muffler

My 2016 still had the stock US spec muffler on it and I decided to try an eBay muffler from a ZX1000 the H2 and ZX muffler are both rated for 80db the ZX muffler is a straight through design. Let me tell you for about $100 this muffler sounds great! The H2 flows so much more air than the ZX there’s no way it’s still 80 dB if you’re looking for an economical muffler try the ZX there are many take offs for sale and the cost is minimal.

12crampster how did you attach the lower heat shield? Just bought one and haven’t installed it yet.

Did you use a section of the original shield?
