Hi I have a 16 H2 , roughly 4K miles . Just come back from a service main dealer ... after about 40 miles of riding . 10 hardish .. the oil pressure light comes on at idle .. goes as soon as I blip the throttle . Rides ok with no issues .. well think it does ... started it a few times .. no issues but then just switched it off. Don’t think it’s a sensor as when’s I rev it the light goes off . Little red oil can . Checked oil and sight glass is completely full ... I don’t think this will cause low oil pressure light to come on though .... weird !! . Light now stays on under 2k revs .. above 2k goes off . Could this be a blown engine ..

Don’t run your engine anymore, take it back to the dealership that did the service, have them verify your oil pressure.

Hi , yep already back a dealer . I rode it at least 9 mile after the light came on at idle ... as it was going off once over the idle ...

Sounded ok . And Rode fine . Wonder if anyone ever experienced this ?

Can't imagine due to a blown engine. Check oil level when cold.

And that. Take it back. Slowly. After making sure level is visible when cold.

Obviously too low or erratic idle can cause oil pressure lights to come on.

When cold oil was also above full mark ... I got it picked up ... and sent to dealer . Mechanic off for a week. So will find out next week .

Was fine before it went in . Was no light when I first got it back from dealer , Only after about 40 miles the light comes on at idle revs .
