Zxr750

Just thought I'd post up a pic of my zxr750 trackbike

Its the K model with flatslides, alloy tank, close ratio box

I've had it about four years, its a brilliant bike for its age and so much fun to ride

It makes a whopping 113 bhp at the wheel but handle like a dream, love pissing off the 20k track weapons too

Its a classic kwak in my eyes

Rob

I owned one of those bikes new from 1992-2007 then I parted it out. It had a full 140+HP superbike engine with race kit long rods and Nitrous, made 190+ at the wheel with the laughing gas. Flatslides, alloy tank, close ratio transmission and the obligatory Muzzy Titanium pipe I bought direct from Muzzys off Scott Russells 1992 Superport bike.

Muzzy Pipe, Man that thing was long. I wound up selling it to some guy in Europe when I parted out the bike. It was still in mint condition. Full titanium tapered headers with alloy canister. What a beautiful pipe it was.

Remember it's also something to do with the rider. Went to a trackday with a dealer friend who was a very accomplished (retired) racer. He was on a 750 and all the 1000cc riders refused to believe it was a 750. Accusations that it had a big motor were circulating in the paddock. In fact it was the bone stock demonstrator from the shop and even had the crap OE rubber.

Very true

My old zxr shows many a track weapon the way

Its also the case I;ve been shown the way by some little race kids on 125's
